Great Pumpkin Dinner

Tonight we had family over to watch this with the boys.

For dinner I made a version of Spaghetti Factory's Spaghetti with Brown Butter and Mizithra Cheese. So yummy. Any meal loved by both toddlers and adults is worth making again.

Good thing I made a lot because these boys came hungry.

Dessert was halloween inspired sugar cookies that are always more fun to make than to eat. But we devoured them all the same.

For the movie I made everyone warm spiced apple cider. 

The boys sat through a few minutes of the movie and then were so hopped up on cider they started running laps around the house. The rest of us lazed around, listening to the occasional crashing in the next room. Anticipate that most of our holidays will be like this this year... us with warm drinks sprawled on the couch while the boys run wild fending for themselves.
