Everyone who knows him loves Grandpa Louie. Noah LOVES Grandpa Louie. This says a lot since he lives in Florida and we only see him a few times a year. The first time Grandpa Louie met Noah, they napped together in our living room for hours. The second time, Noah was a little older. He was entering the stranger anxiety phase and we were worried he would cry the whole time. He took to grandpa Louie instantly and never cried. He smiled at him and laughed with him and knew instantly this wasn't a stranger, this is my grandpa (grandpa that brings me gifts - Noah knows the right people to suck up to). It was hard on both Noah and Grandpa Louie when that visit ended - they were both really attached. This last visit was the best of all because Noah was able to say grandpa, give grandpa kisses, and do all the other things Geno and I pressed him to do repeatedly in order to influence Grandpa Louie to move closer. We think its working, and if not...we have reinforcement coming in December.
