Lessons from a Cold Day

Since dad has to go into work now on the weekends, we let him decide what we do in the morning before he goes in. And so far, its always been pancakes and cartoons. But since he was stuck inside yesterday while the sun was out shining, he wanted to venture to the park this morning. The only thing missing in this equation for fun? The sun. But we went anyway, because we love him.

Looks like we are posing for a family photo here, but its simply me clinging to the boys for heat.

These two kept warm by running around.

While we stayed put...dreaming of our long lost pancakes.

But all was not in misery because Noah had a great time playing.

And he learned a very valuable lesson on this cold day. The art of putting your hands in your pocket. Which is important for keeping your hands warm.

But more importantly, for looking cool.
