Potty Training Update

So after a full week of being housebound, we have made major progress. Have to give my mom some credit for this. Since he was doing so well around the house without clothes, I was hesitant to put them back on. Had even started researching nude preschools to send him to. But after spending a morning at our house with us and witnessing Noah walk around in the buff scratching his boy parts all day, my mom decided he was ready for underwear. And Noah who was so enjoying his naked parade was forced to put some underwear on. And no accidents! I had told Noah prior that he would be wearing his new Lightening McQueen underwear that day and all the Cars would really appreciate it if he didn't pee on them. Think that little pep talk helped. Oh and his constant day and night cravings for M&Ms had a little something to do with it too. My grocery delivery man must think I have serious problems with the 5 packs of M&Ms ordered recently alongside the Slimfast shakes. Add to it the naked little boy pressed against the window last week and I think its safe to say he's going to ask for a new route. Anyway, grandma took the liberty of adding pants to the equation today and take the little guy to Toddler Gym. "BYE! BYE MOM!" He screamed at me when she came to the door. Tearing down the steps. Something tells me enjoyed this week trapped in the house as much as I did. But the end result (Pun definitely intended) was worth it. If you are like me - a tear the band-aid off in one excruciatingly fast pull kind of girl - then this method is for you. We still have naps, nights, and I'm sure - plenty of accidents ahead of us, but I am extremely proud of Noah in all he has accomplished so far. And proud of myself for maintaining my sanity trapped near the toilet all week. The little shopping spree I plan of taking for saving us money on diapers has been my light at the end of of this very long toilet paper roll tunnel.

You're good. Did I mention you're hilarious? I look forward to reading your updates. :)

Thanks for the comment. I needed to hear that. I can't wait for tax season to end - which is ridiculous because I've been in it less than two weeks now! ;)
