On our trip we stayed at the Best Western (thanks grandma Sarah!) right on the beach. As a couple, we always have loved the convenience of being able to walk out the front door and have the beach right there. That was before kids. Now I think I would have traded our room for a hotel 10 miles further that had affordable suites. While Noah was happy the second we were outdoors, he unleashed his inner crazy inside that small room. He alternated between yanking the phone out of the wall and attempting to stick his fingers in the light sockets. We ended up letting him hang out in the hall and press the elevator button for al the guests. The Queen beds were actually full, and full of what we're not sure but nothing comfortable. I had Max in one and Geno took Noah, who spent most of the evening laughing and shouting "Daddy wake up!" The days of restful vacations are gone now we realize. But we would do it again in a heartbeat.
The one that couldn't get enough sleep.
But in his defense there were two other occupants that felt it necessary to kick so hard that half the water was on the ceiling. This summer we will stick to the kiddie pool little buddy.
