He's Scrappy.

Noah. How does he get all these bumps and bruises? His pediatrician says the 2's are the time they do everything in their power to attempt to kill themselves. Here's the breakdown of Noah's attempts.

Bruise between his eyebrows. Diving down the slide head first.
Scratches down his legs. Running and diving on pavement.
Scratches down arm. Same stories as above, insert carpet.
First black eye. Well...
Actually no. This one was compliments of his big cousin. Which was undoubtably an accident. Because anyone who knows Mason knows he only hits his target when he is aiming in the opposite direction. Although these two have started pushing each other. And they think its the greatest game ever. Push me! Push me! They yell as they go toppling over, giggling.
Noah likes it so much that he tries to get Max to play at home. And asks him about 10 times a day before he gives up and moves on.
Today I ran upstairs and left Noah with his snack and cartoons. Notice that he has figured out how to turn his chair into a recliner? A major boy achievement. (Thank you Max for trying to get out of this shot).
So upstairs I went and overheard, "Push me. Push me." I turned to go back down to check on Max and hear "Noah push Noah. Your turn Noah." Apparently Noah was in a shoving match with himself. I hurried back down the stairs, eager to see who would win the battle. Noah or Noah? And heard the battle cry. "Ouch!" Apparently a third party had become involved in the fight. The chair.
He fought the chair. And the chair won.
Defeated, he remained in this position to finish his cartoons.
He's scrappy. And his attempts to harm himself often draws stares from Max and me.
But he always keeps us entertained.

For the longest time Geno would try to push (and fight) his shadow... Until he finally realized that it wasn't real (last Tuesday)

I could see it, I'm surprised to hear that now he goes head first down the slide. It was like a month ago that he would not go down without anyone's hand. What a cute! I love Max's expressions of what his brother does, it's priceless!
