Grandma offered to take Noah to his swim lessons this morning so it left the window open for a a Max & Me day.
We went to Target and got you a new Baby Eintstein DVD because they make you laugh. And a magic bubble wand for your brother. I bought you a giant pretzel and you disposed of it on the Target floor after just one bite. It must have been that good. In true Target fashion I got sucked in and put something from every isle in the cart and you knocked something from every shelf on the floor. When we left the store it was easily 20 degrees hotter outside and that made us both smile.
We drove to Harbor Greens for some fresh fruit. And you decided it needed to be consumed immediately. You let me know this by grabbing the bananas off the table, waving them in the air, and crying when I tried to pry them from your fingers at the checkout. Message received loud and clear and you clapped when I handed you back your banana in the car.
After lunchtime I took you outside to play. You must have been tired from all that shopping because you plopped down in the shade and didn't budge until I took you upstairs for your nap.
