Our Snow Day

Started with one elated boy as the flakes started to fall.

And a little one who watched snow fall from the window for the very first time. In awe he just whispered wow over and over.

All decked out in his winter gear that arrived in the mail just a few days prior.

This is happiness.

And this is Max's very first time stepping foot in snow.

It was cold. Really cold. But I don't think they noticed.

Snowballs...

to build a Snowman.

A day of firsts.

Cold discoveries.

Pure delight.

And brotherly bonding.

A day that started with two excited little boys. That spent an hour running around in the very cold snow. Two tired little boys, now tucked in tight while I look at their pictures by the fire.

I loved this snow day.
