Pumpkin Pie Scented Playdough

Recipe:

- 2 cups flour

- 2 cups warm water

- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

- 2 teaspoons oil

- 1/2 cup salt

- orange food coloring (2 parts yellow/ 1 part red)

- spices: 1 container pumpkin pie spice (or mix 1 tsp nutmeg + 1 tsp cinnamon)

Directions: 

combine all ingredients in one pot. stir continuously over medium heat until thickens. once it becomes difficult to stir remove from heat and let cool enough to handle. knead dough until smooth. store in ziploc bag or airtight container.

This playdough smells amazing. 

My entire kitchen smells like pumpkin pie. 

Perhaps, because after I set up the boys with their dough & cutters tonight, 

and sprinted upstairs to rinse fresh baby puke out of my hair, 

two little people decided to launch pumpkin pie playdough rockets around the kitchen. 

I came down to the sweet scent of pumpkin pie
