We woke Sunday morning and were so excited to see the snow! It really makes it feel like Christmas. We decided that it was finally time to go get our tree. We loaded up the car with rope and gloves, bundled up Noah, and then.... flash. We lost power. I swear you breathe too hard on our house and we lose power. In this case it might have also had something to do with the large power line down in the street by our house. So we decided to forgo the tree again not knowing if we would be coming home at all that night. But we ventured out, knowing it would soon be as cold in our house as outside.
The Boys and the Snow
Our first stop was Noah's all time favorite store, Costco. Since we don't have a tree, we let him run around and knock the ornaments off their display ones. We figure our monthly membership fees should cover any damages. After purchasing the usual 500 diapers as well as the seasonal 20 pack of scotch tape and 200 bows we were off.
Who wouldn't want a yummy hot chocolate when its snowing outside? Apparently this guy who spit it out all over himself.
Finally off to Grandma and Grandpas for the rest of the morning where he insisted on wearing his hat inside. The little guy has style.
And hallelujah, our power came back that night. You feel so lost without it. Hopefully there will be more snow and less hard breathing on our house this Christmas.
3 notes:
Ahh, the 1st real day of snow, snow balls, snow men, angels, and........ a vest, argh!!!! You need to keep your arms just as warm! Obviously Geno dressed Noah that morning!
How fun that you guys had snow! Jeffrey and I are in Philly and it was 65 degrees today. Something's not right about that! I hope everything went good at the doctor today!
Love the picture with him next to the cart:)
