Thought I would update you on the two under two. Max is awesome. He is one of those babies you overhear someone bragging "We have to wake him to feed him he sleeps so long." I wanted to strangle those people during the months I was up every hour or two with Noah when he was first born. So know that I did my time when I tell you Max sleeps 6-7 hours straight every night. We truly are so grateful for this gift, especially with Geno starting his busy season hours next week. Max is so quiet you would not know he is here, except during diaper changes when he alternates between crying or peeing on you if your change time is anything over 5 seconds. He is sweet as can be and in his rare awake time, gets really excited when we talk to him.
He is also quite the Houdini when it comes to swaddling. No matter how tight we swaddle him, he finds a way to escape. He is making his late great grandfather the magician quite proud.
Noah is doing really good. He is showing more interest in the baby and today I found him rubbing his arm. So cute. A lot has changed and despite a few more tantrums and wanting to stay up later, he has been truly great. Oh, and the occasional train thrown at my head but I've become really good at dodging those. Maybe this is what they mean by moms growing eyes in the back of their heads. I am so proud of Noah. He is my little guy and sweet as ever.
And even though we tell him often he is a big boy, we try to remind him he is still our baby too. And he reminds us of this too. Tonight he crawled into the baby chair. Watched some cartoons and then layed down. First time our little guy has ever looked like a giant. It was hilarious.
We have enjoyed every second of daddy being home with us these last few weeks. Next week I am officially outnumbered when he goes back to work. I am sure it will turn to survival mode for a little while, but I'll be sure to let you know. If you don't hear from me you can assume I finally got hit by one of those trains.
