Goodbye Christmas

The end of the holidays can be hard to swallow. Taking down the decorations leaves the house feeling bare and a little depressing. I was just starting this gloomy process when I saw this out my front window.
The mister and junior mister disposing of the christmas tree with their saw and junior saw.
What a delightful way to make a gloomy process sweet.
After the tree Noah went to work on sawing off the christmas lights.
This sight completely turned my day around.
And with Noah's saw having the sharpness of a toothbrush, I knew that I had a good chunk of morning to myself. The littlest mister has become fond of really long morning naps. So I neglected the ornaments for another day and used my free time to make this.

And the bitter taste of the end of christmas became a little bit sweeter. And a whole lot easier to swallow.
