School Cupcakes.

Last week I brought cupcakes for Noah's class to celebrate his birthday. It was his special day at school and he ate it up. He's got the I'm kind of a big deal look going on in this picture.

Since it was his day, he got to have every job in the class. The kids flip for jobs at school. Line leader, snack helper, weather reporter, napkin passer-outer, you name it, he got to do it. Try to do it at home and I think I would be met with a blank stare . But at school? A job is where it's at. Here's the class reading the book Noah picked out. Look at the kid on the far left. Clearly ADD and not following along. Oh wait. That's Max. He came with me to deliver the cupcakes.

Max was more than excited to be part of the class. Look at that look of sheer elation.

And then everyone sang to Noah, to which he replied "thank you. you can all come to my birthday party now." Umm....

I created a diversion with more cupcake time and all was forgotten. Look at this picture and how big Max is getting. He's catching up quickly. Might have something to do with the fact that my 4 year old ate 1/4 of a cupcake and my 2 year old polished off his. And everyone else's that momentarily left their seat.
