hello!

hello!
well, when i last posted here it was december and we were in the midst of a huge snowstorm
(I know this because those were the first pictures that uploaded from my camera tonight!)
and now seasons later, we are fresh from a summer vacation at the beach.
wish i could catch you up on all those missed months here, but for tonight,
{here is our trip to cannon beach}.
make yourself comfortable, this one is a short novel.

meals on our balcony (much preferred to dining out all la little ones for every meal)

morning walks on the beach. calming even for little boys.





hours spent building sandcastles


that required fierce defending from predators (the baby kind).



evening bonfires (my favorite part of where we stayed)


with s'mores, of course.



trips to the candy store

ice cream parlors

and desserts delivered to our room. sugar overload.

trips to the park to run off all the sugar
face painting (noah loved going to the grocery store as spider man and giving menacing looks to all the other shoppers)
sand dollar painting
and a 4th of july parade. so fun to experience in this small town.
a swimming pool that they could have stayed in all day
and nighttime baths loved only by one.


It was all, lovely.


Wish we were there now.
