halloween adventures

max's are the cookies made with all eyes

A very happy halloween.

Our best trick or treating adventure yet, despite the littlest one being really sick. 

He was a trooper though and helped supervise the big ones as they ran, elated, from house to house.
Loved that Max was part of the action this year and so did he.
The smile on his face as he ran back from each house,
captured everything you would hope this day would be.

I hid a lot of their candy last night

in the hopes that they can have just a little treat each day.

They had forgotten all about it by morning.

Thinking this will be the last year I'm able to avoid the post trick or treat

sugar avalanche. 

Love that they are still little this year.

That they cared more about going trick or treating

and ringing the doorbells (10x per house)

then the candy they came home with.

Happy day for us mama's. There is, simply, no greater gift than to be a mother.

sunset bug hunt.

I came across this bug collector/easter egg hunt kit and snapped it up for the boys.

Last night we had a sunset bug hunt.

The boys were elated. 

You can see it on their faces.

Ready, set, go...

Max was literally bursting with excitement. 

Noah was all business.

We hid the eggs in pairs.

Because this one was so darn quick to find them.

And this one was, well... not so quick.

But he found every last one when given time.

I love these moments.
