Sunday we celebrated my favorite guy's birthday with a few of his favorite things. He spent the morning playing lincoln logs and leggos with his two favorite little boys. I spent the morning in the kitchen making his favorite foods, homemade turkey chili and a carrot cake from scratch. After he said it was his favorite cake from any he's ever tasted. And that right there, is why he is my favorite.

Very sweet. I think having Birthdays so close together is a good omen. John and I are also close, 6 days apart.
Hope it was a great birthday-I love the laptop in the kitchen, that's how we cook around here too :) Miss you! We were only in WA for 4 days, but this spring/summer I'll be staying a lot longer so we can get these kids together...finally!!!
