Mr. Mom

I was supposed to work all day today so Geno was the stay at home dad for the day. I left him the camera this morning and told him to take pictures if they did anything fun. Got home early since I'm sick and it was a slow day at work. Noah was napping when I got home and Geno looked relieved to see me. He handed over the camera. Apparently while he was trying to make the little guy lunch he kept asking for a box of cereal. Geno gave it to him thinking it would be a good distraction while he made his lunch. He turned around for a minute, turned back and this is what he found.

Love that instead of ushering Noah away and cleaning up the mess Geno grabs the camera and lets the little guy eat it off the floor! Geno's explanation: This is what happens when you go to work :) Love these days because it reminds all the guys out there that being at home all day with a toddler is so much harder than being at work all day. Another plus, I think I'll keep these pictures around for the day Geno decides to cancel our maid service.

A minute is kind of generous. It was more or less 5 seconds before the corn flakes hit the floor. I guess we all know now that in an emergency, you have heroes and cameramen. I guess i'm one of the cameramen.

You used the 5 second rule though so it was ok right? Word to the wise, if you want to babysit in the future don't put incriminating evidence on film, such as letting your toddler eat off the floor:)

I think that's the point. He doesn't want to babysit. :)

MMMMM Floor Flakes, Geno's favorite. Hey where's the toy in the box? Or (Jess) is that what Geno is getting for Christmas?

I personally dont think that there is anything wrong with eating off the floor:)
